2. Boiler Quote Service

Our free boiler quote service provides you with an estimated fixed price based on the information you supply. Please note the following terms for using the boiler quote tool:

  • Accuracy of Information: The price provided in your quote is based on the information you provide. If any of the information is found to be inaccurate, outdated, or misleading, JRD Heating reserves the right to adjust the quote or declare it invalid.

  • Quote Validity: Boiler quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, provided the supplied information remains accurate. After this period, the quote may be subject to revision due to potential changes in product prices or installation costs.

  • Changes to the Quote: If the details of the installation or property differ from the information provided in the quote (e.g., incorrect boiler type, flue position, or access issues), additional costs may apply. A revised quote will be issued accordingly.

  • Non-Binding: The free quote does not obligate you to purchase a boiler or any related services. It is an estimation provided for your consideration.

3. Plumbing and Heating Services

JRD Heating offers a wide range of plumbing and heating services. The following terms apply to these services:

  • Service Appointments: We will arrange a mutually convenient time for service visits, and you agree to provide access to the property. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Installation Work: We aim to complete all installations within the agreed timeframe, subject to unforeseen circumstances such as access issues or product availability. In case of delays, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date.

  • Warranties: All new boilers installed by JRD Heating come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Details of the warranty will be provided at the time of installation. Service warranties for plumbing and heating repairs will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

  • Property Condition: It is your responsibility to ensure that your property is suitable for the agreed services. Any pre-existing issues (e.g., structural problems or unsafe wiring) may require additional work at an extra cost.

4. Payments

  • Quotes and Payments: All prices quoted for services are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Full payment is required upon completion of the work, unless prior financing arrangements have been made.

  • Finance Agreements: Financing for boiler purchases is provided by Phoenix Finance. Any agreement or dispute regarding finance terms falls under Phoenix Finance’s terms and conditions. JRD Heating is not liable for the terms of your finance agreement.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cooling-Off Period: You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of agreeing to any service contract to cancel without penalty, in line with UK consumer protection law.

  • Refunds: Refunds for services rendered will only be provided if the work is proven to be defective or incomplete and cannot be remedied. Refunds for cancellations within the cooling-off period will be issued, provided no services have commenced.

  • Boiler Orders: If you cancel your boiler installation after the product has been ordered but before installation, you may be liable for the cost of the boiler and any related expenses incurred.

6. Liability

  • Exclusions: JRD Heating is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. This includes loss of profit, data, or business opportunities.

  • Property Damage: While we take the utmost care during installations and repairs, JRD Heating is not liable for any damage caused to property, fixtures, or fittings unless proven to be the direct result of our negligence.

  • Third-Party Services: We may recommend third-party services or products. JRD Heating is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of third-party providers, including Phoenix Finance.

7. Website Use

  • Content: The content on our website, including text, images, and graphics, is for informational purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or accuracy of content.
